The History of Pyrex Lawsuit Baking Dishes

Pyrex lawsuit form heat up! The invention of this new type of blister-proof glass, that when heated in microwave ovens, and maintained at the proper temperature range would prevent damage to the blistering areas of the glassware. When the heating is complete, the glassware could be easily and quickly replaced with fresh blister free Pyrex products. These products are easy to find on the internet, due to the increased demand from consumers looking for this type of safety feature in their Pyrex products. With the lawsuit leading product, there is a new dimension added to the lawsuits filed by plaintiffs wishing to hold corporations accountable for injuries caused by their products. The new technology now allows plaintiffs and their lawyers to easily monitor and file these types of lawsuits.

One of the main issues we see with many companies is their use of lead-based colors in their glass cookware.

Lead can leach into the food that is prepared in these products and create an environment where mold and other harmful bacteria can grow. This can ultimately lead to long term health hazards for not only the workers but their families. Many of these lawsuits have tracked the explosion of mold growth within the work environments of these companies right down to the employees themselves. Toxic mold has been found in several work environments. The plaintiffs and their lawyers have tracked this toxic mold down and brought these cases to court.

The lawsuits that have been brought against corporations like Mars Inc, P & G, Dow Chemical, and Mars Inc. are all based on the lead based coloring present in these cookware products.

These companies marketed and sold their products to millions of consumers’ kitchens. Without taking the time to educate consumers about the dangers of these chemicals, they poured millions of dollars into these projects. Consumers did not become aware of the danger of the color until they began experiencing health related issues. In the past few months, as more suits have been filed in the courts dealing with these toxic products, the general public has become more aware of the damage that these dangerous ingredients can cause.

The Pyrex lawsuit is one of many that have been filed over the world wide poisoning of glassware by using lead in these products.

Other examples of these poisoning cases include the discovery of the blue glassware in the Japanese restaurant, which had over two hundred point blank shards in it. Another major incident of this type happened in a California hotel when a hotel employee used a lit cigarette lighter to inadvertently set the glassware on fire, and the hotel’s chef quickly put out the flames with water. Both of these incidents were ultimately covered by insurance, and no major injuries were sustained by either the employees or the customers at either of these establishments.

The main ingredient that is being sued is a chemical called “Broxatone”. This substance is an oxidizing agent that was originally designed to keep glassware from breaking, but the FDA has determined that it poses a significant danger to consumers who regularly use these types of bakeware items. The borosilicate glassware in your Pyrex lawsuit was originally made from a material called “pyrex” that was a combination of copper and silica. Brosilicate glassware is the original material that is used to make all of the Pyrex products that you see on store shelves today, and it was created specifically so that it would not break into sharp shards when it is exposed to high temperatures of heat. You may have noticed that some Pyrex bakeware items do not have any visible streaks of the borosilicate glass on them, and you are mistaken, that is because the streaks are actually there due to the imperfections that the material is forced to create through the manufacturing process.

When these baked goods are subjected to high heat they will eventually shatter, and the only way for the borosilicate glass cookware to remain intact is for it to be stored in extremely cold temperatures. These cold temperatures are required in order to keep the borosilicate glass cookware safe until it can be sent back to the marketplace. This particular type of borosilicate glass cookware is absolutely ideal for anyone who needs an extremely durable product that will stand up to any type of punishment that it might experience while in the oven or in the kitchen. If you have ever purchased any type of borosilicate glass cookware before, you already know how great of a purchase that it is, but if you are new to this wonderful new material you might be wondering what other types of things you can bake with this cookware. The truth is that there are hundreds of different types of foods and baked goods that you can prepare in the tins of this amazing material!
