Nissan Timing Chain Class Action Lawsuit

Nissan has recently come under fire for what is being described as an illegal and fraudulent “reements and master contracts” between the automaker and various consumers. The Federal Trade Commission’s consumer protection division has now opened a Class Action Lawsuit against Nissan Motors America Inc., charging the company with fraud for failing to disclose information that would have allowed them to properly warn their customers about certain issues with their car’s timing system. The legal basis of this complaint states that Nissan did not conduct a reasonable risk analysis to determine whether or not their timing chain system was defective and did not include an understandable warning about the dangers of installing the system in your vehicle.
